I think the perfect gift for a person who has everything, is either a gift card to their favorite restaurant, or something like homemade candies and baked items. I enjoy making chocolate covered pretzels, fudge, oreo truffles and peppermint blossoms(using candy cane hersheys), to give as a gift to couples and friends without breaking the bank as well.

Well Obama won the Presidency, I hope he can get us out of the economic mess we're in(without taxing us to death, taking our SS or 401k). I'm not very keen on him winning the election or actually the reasons why he won, but he's in there now so I guess I just have to buck up and deal with it, plus he may not be all too bad. I just really don't have a good feeling about it and hope that myself and many others are proven wrong with our hunches, and America can be strong once again. Right now I'm an American First, so I will stand with my country, but I need to see the Change that a lot of people have been mindlessly babbling about. All they said was change, but what kind exactly? Could it be the change in the possibility that America crumbles(and George Bush looks like a saint?) or could this change really HELP us? I guess we'll just have to wait and see. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt but if he screws up, at least my hands are clean because I didn't vote for him.

I asked my questions about Pit Bulls as K-9's on Yahoo, here's what I got

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AnRKu60iXyAcl7BlF6a3MLDsy6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20080613075824AAx7nbT

I just really think that they should start doing that with more, it would help the pits have a positive place in life I think...

and I just came across this: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20080613083144AAr1c65&r=w#BJdPAzG6CTfXiwHGedX2

If you could go back and fix your most regrettable decision, what would it be, and what would you do differently?

Or:

Pirates or Ninjas?

Gabby and I have been looking for dogs for dad and she sent me the link to this one poor soul who just wants to be loved. http://search.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=8667561

I'm honestly considering giving it a go. I want to give it a second and happier life. What sucks is I can only save animals one at a time and only limit myself to adopting just one. I wish there were 10,000,000 of me, that way I could have 2-3 pets per me and they'd all get adopted from these agencies and given a better chance at living happily...
I just keep replaying that poor pups picture in my head and I just can't stand it, it tears me up..

Good News!!

Wow, why did I just think of some blonde guy with a ponytail??

Went to Eric's dads for thanksgiving, and it went pretty good, I really liked it and one of Eric's step sisters made homemade lava cake from scratch, Y.U.M. I didn't even touch pumpkin pie, that lava cake was superb!

Work's Christmas party is the first week of next month and Lynn and me are trying to get everybody to put their names in, we just need one more person... Everybody's pitching in 5 dollars(each) for Kevin, 10 dollars each would go over his 50 dollar limit(he set it), and I guess we still have to respect the boss man's desicion on that...

And that's it, Have a Great thanksgiving!!

I normally don't get into insulting ones self, but this is interesting and so true...

BITCHOLOGY:

When I stand up for myself and my beliefs, they call me a *****.

When I stand up for those I love, they call me a *****.

When I speak my mind, think my own thoughts or do things my own way, they call me a *****.

Being a ***** means I won't compromise what's in my heart! It means I live my life MY way. It means I won't allow anyone to step on me. When I refuse to tolerate injustice and speak against it, I am defined as a *****.

The same thing happens when I take time for myself instead of being everyone's maid, or when I act a little selfish. It means I have the courage and strength to allow myself to be who I truly am and won't become anyone else's idea of what they think I "should" be.

I am outspoken, opinionated and determined I want what I want and there is nothing wrong with that!
So try to stomp on me, try to douse my inner flame, try to squash every ounce of beauty I hold within me. You won't succeed.

And if that makes me a *****, so be it.
I embrace the title and am proud to bear it.

B - Babe
I - In
T - Total
C - Control of
H - Herself

B = Beautiful
I = Individual
T = That
C = Can
H = Handle anything

My Heart Sank

Okay, Been working at Dollar Tree for over a week now, and there's been this "Operation Easter" poster up, but I never really knew what it was about, until a lady bought about four gifts for it. I found out that it is a drive to where you buy and donate stuff on a list to go to needy families that can't afford Easter, and when I put the gifts that the woman bought in the box in front, I about lost it. There were only like three gifts in there, and I know this box was there before I started working there. I spent 4 dollars and put nine gifts in there and a big bag of suckers(I bought three three packs of bubbles). EVERYTHING IN THE STORE IS A DOLLAR!!! I've seen a woman come in and spend 168.00 on stuff, 95.00 of it candy, and not one bit went in to that box. I've seen people go in there and spend 40, 50, 90 dollars and nothing in the box, how would they feel if they were those needy parents who couldn't afford their child's Easter and had to see the dissapointment because someone couldn't spend just a dollar on a gift? It just really dissapointed me in people, but I'm still gonna put at least 2 dollars in there everyday I'm working, we have multi packaged items, so it'll spread out easier to buy a little bulkish.

Everybody have a good day
